Following a nearly three-week dry dock in Barcelona, Spain, Norwegian Star underwent extensive enhancements to its staterooms, public spaces, restaurants, bars and lounges as part of The Norwegian Edge program. The ship, built in 2001, also unveiled three new venues: Sky High Bar, Bliss Ultra Lounge and Spice H2O.

- O'Sheehan's Bar and Grill: Enjoy classic Irish pub fare over your favorite craft beer, all in a casual setting open 24 hours a day. You can eat your traditional favorites like Shepherd's Pie or Fish n' Chips without paying a service charge, or throw some darts while you enjoy watching a game.
- Aqua: One of the two main restaurants with a variety of culinary delights and contemporary dishes.
- Garden Cafe: Whatever you're craving, you'll probably find it at the Garden Cafe. This complimentary indoor buffet restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner.
- Room service: Available 24 hours a day, all you have to do is pick up the phone and order breakfast, lunch, dinner or whatever you fancy eating late at night. A room service charge may apply.
