Vaccination and Testing Requirements

The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection welcomes all guests regardless of vaccination status. While proof of vaccination and pre-voyage testing is no longer required for boarding, guests will be required to answer a health questionnaire prior to boarding. If you feel ill in the days before your voyage, you should not travel.

Healthy Sailing Best Practices

Highly visible sanitation efforts are implemented throughout the yacht to ensure a safe and healthy environment for all. This includes medical-grade sanitation of all suites, public spaces and equipment, hand sanitization units around the yacht and microbial air purification technology.

Contact Tracing and Isolation Protocols

In the event that a guest feels unwell during their voyage, the onboard medical staff is available to conduct an on-site evaluation. If a guest tests positive during their voyage, they must self-isolate in their suite for a period of time in order to prevent exposure to others on board. Individuals identified as a close contact will be asked to remain in their suite and cooperate in completing the contact tracing and testing protocol. If those traveling in the same suite as the guest do not test positive, alternative accommodations will be offered, where available. Every effort will be made to ensure the care and comfort of any guest under suite isolation.

Safety Ashore

To ensure a more controlled environment in the destinations Ritz-Carlton visits, The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection highly recommends that guests participate in the tours offered in The Shore Collection program. By design, tours are offered in intimate group sizes or can be transformed into private experiences. Ritz-Carlton is also working closely with the operators to ensure the tour guides interaction with guests, transportation vehicles utilized, and venues visited ashore align with the same health and safety protocols that Ritz-Carlton employs on board the yacht. Guests will be permitted to go ashore independently to explore on their own or on an organized tour dependent on regional and local regulations.
