Hurtigruten Cruise Line WiFi Packages

Hurtigruten provides free Wi-Fi on all its ships, typically included in your fare or accessible by joining their free 1893 Ambassador loyalty program. The service is generally reliable for basic use like email and social media but may not be fast enough for streaming video.

• Cost: Wi-Fi is complimentary for guests, often automatically included with certain fare levels or accessible after joining the no-cost 1893 Ambassador program.
• Availability: It is available in public areas and generally throughout the ship.

Performance: The connection uses a combination of coastal 4G/5G signals and satellite internet (like Starlink on some expedition ships). Performance can vary:

• Good for basic tasks: Suitable for checking emails, web browsing, social media, and using messaging apps like WhatsApp.
• Not ideal for streaming: Video calls and streaming services may be difficult or impossible, especially when crossing open water or in areas with signal obstructions (e.g., surrounded by mountains).
• Reliability: The signal is usually reliable along the majority of the Norwegian coast due to good land-based coverage.
