Celebrity Cruises Health & Safety Protocols

Creating the best cruise experience possible means prioritizing the well-being of the guests, crew members, and the incredible communities Celebrity visits. In coordination with global health authorities and under the guidance of our expert shoreside and shipboard medical teams, Celebrity continually refines its health and safety protocols to align with modern maritime best practices and luxury travel standards.

Fleetwide Public Health & Deep Sanitization

Celebrity has elevated its everyday cleaning methods and sanitization protocols to maintain an impeccably clean environment from bow to stern. Our dedicated housekeeping teams utilize hospital-grade, EPA-approved disinfectants to continuously treat high-touch surfaces in public venues, lounges, and staterooms. Hand-sanitizing stations and handwashing sinks are conveniently located throughout the ship, particularly at the entrance of all culinary venues, to make hand hygiene a seamless part of your day.

Advanced HVAC Systems & Clean Air Quality

The ships are engineered with sophisticated climate control systems that continuously supply 100% fresh, filtered sea air to all staterooms and interior public spaces. By employing robust layers of protection?including multi-stage commercial filtration setups?the system ensures a constant intake of fresh air, keeping air circulation pristine and independent between individual staterooms and public zones.

24/7 Premium Medical Care & Staffing

For complete peace of mind at sea, every Celebrity ship features a state-of-the-art medical center staffed 24 hours a day by fully licensed physicians and registered nurses. These facilities are outfitted with advanced medical equipment, including cardiac monitors, x-ray capabilities, and point-of-care laboratory testing devices. Our onboard teams work in constant alignment with shoreside medical networks to manage any guest health needs or shoreside transfers seamlessly.

Destination Alignment & Safe Exploration

To preserve the health and safety of the guests, crew, and the destinations we explore, Celebrity works continuously alongside local port officials, health authorities, and tour operators worldwide. While international travel requirements have normalized, entry guidelines may occasionally vary based on local destination rules. Guests are responsible for securing proper valid travel documents?such as passports or required visas?prior to departure.

CruiseCare Travel Protection: To protect your vacation against unexpected medical events or travel disruptions, Celebrity highly recommends adding a comprehensive CruiseCare Travel Protection plan to your booking before sailing.
