Majesty of the Seas Review - Day 3

Monday - June 17th

On this sea day we let ourselves sleep in before heading over to the Windjammer for breakfast. The buffet really catered to everyone with an omelette and egg station, fresh pastries, fruit, cheeses, meats and any other breakfast food you can think of! I helped myself to a plate of eggs, sausages, beans and toast.

Having highlighted various activities throughout the itinerary, I was excited for the day I had planned out for us. We spent the day playing flag trivia and 80s trivia before hanging out by the pool to soak in the sun and relax in the ocean breeze.

We decided to try out the Johnny Rockets Diner, which required a $10 cover charge but we could order anything on the menu! Wanting to catch the marriage game show, we took our food to go. Biting into my greasy burger and chili fries, I didn't even care that much about the food dripping all over my dress. It was so delicious that it was well worth the stain.

The show was also amazing! If you've cruised before, then you may know this common cruise ship game. Here's how it works: three volunteer couples from the crowd are asked to play. First let's say the husband has to answer questions about the wife, while the wife can't hear his answer. She is then brought back into the game to answer the same question, with the hopes that they both have the same answer. The roles are then switched where the wife has to answer questions about the husband. The couple with the highest score wins. This game often gets so many laughs from the crowd due to the personal, but hilarious, nature of the questions and answers!

After enjoying the game show, I challenged Bryant to another game of shuffleboard, which I won this time!

Since we missed our dining time the previous night, we made sure to make it on time this night. Putting on our best outfits for formal night, we went to dinner at Starlight where Bryant ordered the lobster soup, seafood linguine and cheesecake and I ordered the Caesar salad, Spaghetti Bolognese and carrot cake.

Wanting to try a hand at roulette again, unaccepting of our loss on Day 1, we actually won $75! Happy with our success, we grabbed drinks at the Schooner Bar and watched everyone dance happily to the live piano.

Remembering the Quest Game Show was coming up soon, we headed over to the theatre to check it out. Parents, please be aware that this game show is not for kids… they WILL have nightmares.

After the entire audience was put into teams, they had to do exactly what the Cruise Director, Tornado Tanya, told them to do to complete their quests! In one instance I turned to my left and there was a man with his shirt off and then to my right a man with his pants off! Men were wearing women's bras… Saying the game was hilarious is an understatement!

Our team didn't win but we had an amazing time watching the whole audience in a scurry.

After this eventful night, we were exhausted and decided to go to bed. We'd need to rest up before the Bahamas the next day!
