Start the day with a pick-up from the port and head to Phuket Old Town. This historic area is rich in cultural heritage, with streets like Thanon Thalang, Thanon Dibuk, and Soi Romanee, once home to settlers from China, India, Europe, and the Muslim world. These early settlers brought their distinct architectural styles, creating the iconic 'Sino-European' buildings that remain today. During the reign of King Rama IV, Phuket's tin mining industry flourished, and while the mines are now preserved as museums, the area has since transformed into a vibrant hub of accommodations, dining spaces, and souvenir shops. For lunch, consider dining at One Chun or Tu Kab Khao. At noon, transfer from Old Phuket Town to Phuket International Airport for your flight to Chiang Mai (FD3165, 15:25-17:25). Upon arrival in Chiang Mai, head to the Chiang Mai Cultural Center for a traditional Khantoke Dinner at the Old Chiangmai Cultural Center. Here, you'll experience Northern Thai culture with a delicious meal that includes nine dishes like hung lay curry, laab kua, deep-fried crispy chicken, and sticky rice, all served on a traditional khantoke tray. The dinner is accompanied by a lively Fon Ram dance performance, offering a glimpse into the unique local traditions. After the show, transfer to your 5-star Chiang Mai hotel for check-in and enjoy an overnight stay. After breakfast, depart for Wat Phra That Doi Suthep, the most important temple in Chiang Mai. Built in the early 19th century, this temple is renowned for its seven-headed serpent statues that line the stairs leading to a golden pagoda and the stunning Lanna architecture. The panoramic view of Chiang Mai from the temple is breathtaking, and the site also hosts the Tiaw Khuen Doi Festival, where visitors ascend Doi Suthep Hill to worship the Buddhist relics enshrined there. Next, enjoy lunch at Lamour Cafe & Restaurant before exploring Chiang Mai Old Town, which dates back to the 13th century and was once the capital of the Lanna Kingdom. The town offers a fascinating blend of architectural styles and cultural influences. Visit Warorot Market or Kad Luang, where you can find local foods such as fermented pork sausages and green chili paste, and also explore Ton Lam Yai Market, Chiang Mai's vibrant flower market. Afterward, return to the hotel for a refresh before heading to The House by Ginger for a delicious dinner featuring khao soi, a flavorful curry noodle dish popular in northern Thailand. Finally, visit the Night Bazaar, a must-see for anyone in Chiang Mai, offering a lively atmosphere, food, souvenirs, and much more. Overnight at your 5-star Chiang Mai hotel. Visit the part of Mae Sa Elephant Sanctuary, formerly known as the Thai Elephant Care Center and renamed the Chang Chiang Mai in November 2019. The sanctuary is home to 14 elephants, mostly elderly, with a few younger ones, offering a half-day activity for visitors to learn about elephant conservation. Afterward, enjoy lunch at an orchid farm, located in the Mae Rim district, which is home to a cluster of four orchid and butterfly farms. Among these, Sai Nam Phung Farm is Chiang Mai's largest orchid farm, while the other farms-Suan Bua Mae Sa and Bai Orchid & Butterfly Farm-offer unique vibes and beautiful settings. In the afternoon, visit Wat Suan Dok, also known as the Flower Garden Temple, located west of old Chiang Mai. The temple is famous for its small white chedis that house the ashes of many members of the Chiang Mai Royal Family, with the largest chedi housing a Buddhist relic. Founded in 1371, the temple has a rich history linked to the legendary monk Sumana Thera, who brought a holy relic to Chiang Mai. Part of the relic was enshrined at Wat Suan Dok, while another part was placed at Wat Phra That Doi Suthep. Next, explore Wat Phra Sing, built in 1345 on Sam Lan Road. This revered temple is home to Phra Phuttha Sihing, a Chiang Saen-style Buddha statue, enshrined in the beautifully crafted Vihan Lai Kham. During the Songkran festival in April, the statue is paraded around the town, where locals bath it with scented water for good luck. Afterward, enjoy dinner on your own, and then stay overnight at your Chiang Mai hotel. (Breakfast, lunch, and overnight at 5-star hotel are included.) ...
